What are the built-in legal pages?
Every website built on EasyWebie automatically gets four legal pages:
Privacy Policy — explains what data your website collects about visitors and how it is used.
Terms & Conditions — the rules governing use of your website and purchase of your products or services.
Refund Policy — explains your return and refund process for customers who made a purchase.
FAQ — a short set of common customer questions and answers.
These pages are created automatically for every website — you do not need to add them manually. They live at specific URLs:

Each legal page is at a permanent public URL:
These URLs are always live — no publishing step needed. They are accessible to your visitors as soon as your website exists.
The pages are rendered with a clean, readable layout (logo, business name, light background) and are mobile-friendly.
How visitors find the legal pages
Legal page links are automatically included in your website footer.
If you use the Vibe template (recommended for stores and retail websites), the footer section includes "Privacy Policy · Terms & Conditions · Refund Policy" links by default, pointing to the correct URLs for your site.
For other templates and AI-generated footers, you can ask the AI to add legal links: *"Add Privacy Policy, Terms, and Refund Policy links to the footer"* — or manually add them via the Edit tab → link fields.
For e-commerce stores especially, having visible legal page links in your footer builds customer trust and is required by most payment providers.
The default content
Each legal page comes with sensible default content pre-written for a generic small business selling products or services online. The defaults are thorough enough to use as-is for most simple businesses.

You should review the defaults and customise any section that does not match your specific business — particularly refund timelines, delivery information, and contact details.
Customising your legal pages
Legal pages can be personalised for your business from the Dashboard:
**text**, headings with ## Heading, and bullet lists with -Customisations are saved immediately and visible to visitors without republishing.
If you reset to defaults, the pre-written generic content is restored.
Important notes for store owners
If you are running an online store on EasyWebie (Starter or Pro plan), your legal pages are especially important:
Refund Policy — be specific about how many days customers have to return, what condition the item must be in, and who pays return shipping. Vague policies lead to payment disputes.
Terms & Conditions — your T&Cs govern the sale contract. Make sure your product descriptions and terms are consistent. EasyWebie's built-in payment gateways (Razorpay and Stripe) may require merchants to have published T&Cs before activating live payments.
Privacy Policy — if you collect any customer email or phone data (which the contact form and checkout both do), a Privacy Policy is required under Indian DPDP Act 2023 rules.
