The Archive plan — pause a site at low cost
What the Archive plan does, when to use it, what it preserves and what it blocks, and how to restore a site from Archive.
In this guide
What the Archive plan is
Archive is a low-cost holding plan for a website you want to keep but are not actively working on. At $15/year (≈ $1.25/month), it is far cheaper than keeping a site on Basic or Starter when you do not need AI or active editing.
Think of Archive as "parking mode" — your site stays published and accessible to visitors, your domain stays connected, but all AI features are disabled until you restore.
When to use Archive
Archive is useful when:
What Archive preserves
When a site is archived:
Nothing is deleted. Archive is non-destructive.
What Archive blocks
Archive disables all AI features:
You can still open the builder and see your site, but you cannot save new drafts or push updates.
In short: The site is frozen at its last published state. Visitors see it; you cannot change it without restoring.
How to switch a site to Archive
Currently, switching a site to Archive is done through the Pricing page. The Archive plan appears as an option on the plan selection page.
Note: Archive is a per-account plan, not per-site. Switching to Archive affects all sites on your account. If you need to archive one site but keep others active, open a support ticket — the team can assist with multi-site scenarios.
How to restore from Archive
To resume active use of your site:
Your plan updates immediately. AI features are restored, you can open the builder and make edits, and you can republish — right where you left off. No content was lost during Archive.
