Managing pages in your website

How to add new pages, switch between pages, navigate internal links, and delete pages you no longer need.

1

Multi-page websites

Your EasyWebie website can have multiple pages — a Home page, an About page, a Services page, a Contact page, and more. Each page is a separate collection of sections.

Pages share the same domain and are linked through your nav section and internal links. The nav section automatically lists your pages in the site navigation.

2

Switching between pages

Click the current page name in the top bar (next to your site name) to open the page dropdown. All your pages are listed — the current page has a violet dot. Click any page name to save your current draft and switch to that page.

Pages with unsaved drafts show a small amber "draft" badge in the dropdown, so you can see at a glance which pages have unpublished changes.

3

Adding a new page

1Click the page name in the top bar to open the page dropdown
2Click + Add page at the bottom of the dropdown
3Enter a page name (e.g. "About", "Services", "Contact")
4EasyWebie creates a URL slug automatically: "About" → /about.html
5Click Create Page

You are taken to the new page, which starts empty. From here, click "Browse Full Templates" to start with a pre-built layout, or click "Add Section" to build it section by section, or ask AI to build it.

4

Deleting a page

In the page dropdown, hover over any page name (other than the one you are currently on) to reveal a trash icon on the right. Click the trash icon and confirm the deletion.

You cannot delete your last remaining page — every website must have at least one page. If you are on the page you want to delete, switch to another page first.

Note: Deleting a page is permanent and cannot be undone via the undo shortcut.

5

Linking between pages (internal links)

To add a link button that takes visitors to another page on your site:

1Select the section with the button (e.g. your nav or a CTA)
2Click the button's Link URL field in the Edit tab
3A dropdown appears showing your other pages — click to select
4The field is filled with the page path: /about.html

Visitors clicking that button will navigate to the correct page on your published site. These links also work in the builder preview for checking the flow.

6

The "Home" page

Your first page is always named "Home" and has the URL path /. It is the page visitors see when they go to your domain directly.

In the builder URL, the Home page appears as /builder/[siteId]/home. Internally, EasyWebie resolves "home" to the correct Firestore document — you do not need to worry about the technical URL.
